Myawady FC regains victory in Myanmar Women’s League

Myawady FC threshed YREO 5-0 on the first day of Fixture 2 of Myanmar Women’s League 2024 at Salin Stadium in Yangon yesterday.
Defending champion Myawady FC secured a victory for the openers. YREO formed with young players who could not compete with the experience of the defending champion.
Myawady FC lined up with star players Phyu Phyu Win, Hla Yin Win, Yupa Khaing and Zin Mar Tun, where YREO, handled by Daw Thet Thet Win, deployed its most vital players. Myawady FC scored an opening goal in the 6th minute.
Phyu Phyu Win shot two goals, and Yupa Khaing three goals for Myawady FC.
On the second day of Fixture 2, ISPE will play against Ayeyawady at Padonma Stadium, whereas Thitsa Arman will meet Yangon United at Salin Stadium on 14 May. — Shine Htet Zaw/TTA
