An informal meeting between National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee and ethnic armed organizations is in progress in Nay Pyi Taw on 13 February.

The National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee held an informal meeting with ethnic armed organizations yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
The meeting was attended by Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister at the Union Government Office-1 Chairman of the committee Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and committee members, vice-chairmen, secretaries and central committee members of nine Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) signatories and non-NCA signatories and officials.
At the meeting, the SAC member chairman of the committee discussed about the situation of inviting peace meeting to ethnic armed organizations, building of a Union based on democracy and federalism, stability, peace and development, matters of further negotiations, and peace issue, and each EAOs replied their discussions freely.
In the afternoon, the committee separately met and discussed with each EAO about the matters of stability and peace in regions, development, health care and further peace process, and presented gifts.— MNA
