The Russian travellers visited here during Thadingyut, and they keep visiting. It can be said the numbers of tourists are high. The autumn festival of Ngapali Beach will be organized like in previous years under the supervision of the state government. This tourism season can host higher numbers of travellers than previous years and so we expect an increase in revenue of the country,” said U Tin Htut Aung, director of Rakhine State Directorate of Hotels and Tourism.
During the Thadingyut festival, over 40 Russian visitors and tourists visited the Ngapali beach resort. Moreover, there is visa-free service on the arrival of Chinese and Indian tourists and so the hoteliers and transport business people suggest that the site would be crowded with visitors in the 2023 tourism season.
