One killed, one injured by handmade bomb

The rioters attacked the security forces with handmade bombs in the Myinmu township of Sagaing Region yesterday. It left one man injured and another one dead.
About 30 rioters staged a strike at Shwe Saw Lu Pagoda in Margha Ward of Myinmu Township, and the security members detained two men.
Moreover, about 200 people surrounded the police station and moved back as the police dispersed the crowd.
Then, about 50 people set the tire on fire at Myoma market in Aung Zaya Ward, and the police dispersed them. But they attacked the security members.
Meanwhile, Thae Ko Maung threw the handmade bomb to the police, and the bomb exploded near him. Similarly, another man attempted to throw the bomb, and it exploded in his hand and he died on the spot.
The victims were taken to Myinmu hospital. — MNA
