Peace Talks Team, UWSP continue 2nd-day meeting

The second-day meeting of the government Peace Talks Team and the delegation led by the Vice-Chairman of the United Wa State Party (UWSP) was organized in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The meeting was attended by State Administration Council Member National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Chairman Union Minister at the Government Office (1) Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, in his capacity as the leader of the Peace Talks Team, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, Vice-Chairman of the United Wa State Party (UWSP) U Lau Yaku, Deputy Head of the External Relations Division U Pauk Aik Kaw and In-charge of the Lashio Liaison Office of the External Relations Division U Nyi Yan.
During the meeting, they discussed peace and development-related matters. They also approved and signed the agreements received from the three-day meeting.
Then, Vice-Chairman of the United Wa State Party (UWSP) U Lau Yaku and government Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae made closing remarks and gave the record books marking Diamond Jubilee Union Day and Myanmar Encyclopaedia volume 1 published by the Ministry of Information. — MNA
