Pyay Road near the People’s Square to be closed on Diamond Jubilee Independence Day

As the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day ceremony is to be held at the People’s Square in Yangon, the section of Pyay Road between the Myaynigon traffic lights and Pyihtaungsu Yeiktha traffic lights will be closed, according to the ceremony holding committee.
It is planned to close the road on 2 and 4 January for the ceremony and it will be closed until the ceremony is over. Rehearsals for the Independence Day ceremony will also be held on 2 January. The flag-raising ceremony will be held at 4:20 am on 4 January, and the road will be closed until the ceremony is completed, and the detours will be used. — TWA/KZW
