Religious places crowded with pilgrims on full moon day of Second Waso (Dhammacakka Day)

Famous pagodas, temples and stupas across the country were densely crowded on the full moon day of Waso ((Dhammacakka Day) with people who keep Sabbath and do good deeds.
The day is an important day for Myanmar Buddhists and The Buddha delivered Dhammacakka Sutta on that day. Buddhists do good deeds on the full moon day of Waso including offering Waso robes and keeping Sabbath at the pagodas across the nation.
The pagoda board of trustees of Shwedagon pagoda celebrated Dhammacakka Day and donated Waso lotus robes to four Buddha images at every four corners of the pagoda while Waso robes and offertories to the Sayadaws.
Similarly, the Shwedagon pagoda was also packed with visitors and donors.
Moreover, the Dhammacakka Day was marked at Maha Wizara pagoda, Botahtaung pagoda, Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye pagoda, Sule pagoda, Tooth Relic pagoda (Yangon), Shwephonepwint pagoda, Lawkachantha Abhaya Muni pagoda (Kyauktawgyi), Melamu pagoda, Ngahtetgyi pagoda, Chaukhtetgyi pagoda and Maha Dhamma Yanthi Eintawya pagoda and Nay Pyi Taw Uppatasanti pagoda. The pagodas were also crowded with pilgrims.
Additionally, the Latlotetaung Shwenanthwin pagoda, Shwelwantaw pagoda, Nayyaungpya Inn pagoda, Yanaungmyin pagoda, Phaungtawchatma pagoda, Pyinmana Koesu pagoda, Culamuni pagoda, Sutaungya Sutaungpyae pagoda, Thatta Thattaha Maha Bawdi pagoda and Phwar, Pwint, Haw, San sites in Nay Pyi Taw Council area were also packed with visitors.
The people also visited Maha Muni Buddha image, Maha Lawkayanhnein Aungtawmu pagoda, Candamuni pagoda, Kuthodaw pagoda, Mandalay Hill, Shwekyeeimyin pagoda,Tooth Relic pagoda (Mandalay), Werawsana Jade pagoda and other famous pagodas in Mandalay Region to offer Waso robes, flowers and keep Sabbath and recite Dhammacakka Sutta. — ASH/KTZH
