Restore peace for shaping the nation with prosperity

Various ethnic nationals have been residing in Myanmar through thick and thin since time in thousands of years. Their cultural heritage and fine arts have been sustainable till today. But, when the country fell under the rule of colonialists, the divide-and-rule policy of the colonialists wedged the unity among national brethren.
Even though the country regained its independence in 1948, armed conflicts among the ethnic nationals due to the instigation of the colonialists cannot be solved till today. These armed conflicts keep the country away from peace. As a result, national reconciliation and peace could not be firmly built, delaying the development of the nation.
Although the governments in successive eras emphasized the flourishing of Union spirit and restoration of the perpetual peace, the country has been staying away from from the victory of mission to build the Union based on democracy and federalism due to malpractices in democracy more than 70 years, hugging the ism, dogmatism, regionalism and personal cult.

That is why the united strength of all the national people will be taking measures of peace and stability of the nation. Today’s country is facing abundant internal and external disturbances. Hence, the ethnic national people would have to overcome difficulties, crises and challenges which would fall on the country and the people, with a patriotic spirit based on the genuine Union spirit.

Today’s government is working hard in line with the five-point roadmap and nine objectives as its policies for ensuring peace and stability of the State, development and improvement of socio-economy of ethnic national people as much as it can. Strenuous efforts are being made for the national reconciliation and restoration of peace in the Union with a vow to ensure the sustainable and harmonized development all national brethren can enjoy in an equal term.
Emphasizing the restoration of peace, the government wipes off incitements of terrorists and violent attacks. Only when the country enjoys fruits of peace and stability, will it go on along the route to the restoration of peace.
That is why the united strength of all the national people will be taking measures of peace and stability of the nation. Today’s country is facing abundant internal and external disturbances. Hence, the ethnic national people would have to overcome difficulties, crises and challenges which would fall on the country and the people, with a patriotic spirit based on the genuine Union spirit. Naturally, every country is safeguarding their independence and sovereignty. The unity as a tool to shape a prosperous country is a backbone for the existence of independence and sovereignty. Only when a peaceful and prosperous society emerges, will it hand the good legacy to new generations.
