SAC Member DPM Union Defence Minister General Mya Tun Oo attends Chin National Day ceremony

State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo presents cash donations for the diamond jubilee celebration to Chin State Chief Minister Dr Wong Hsun Htan in Haka yesterday.

The ceremony of the 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Chin National Day was held at the Chin State government office in Haka yesterday morning and State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo spoke on the occasion.
SAC Member Dr Hmu Htan, Union ministers, the Chin State chief minister, the North-West Command commander, deputy ministers and officials attended the ceremony.
Firstly, Chin State Chief Minister Dr Wong Hsun Htan read the message from SAC Chair Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing followed by the Diamond Jubilee Chin National Day speech by Department of Labour Director-General U Hone Kee.
Then, SAC Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Defence Minister General Mya Tun Oo presented K20 million for the diamond jubilee celebration to the chief minister of Chin State.
Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan and Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Gyi gave sports accessories, seeds and fertilizers to state government officials.
Afterwards, the Deputy Prime Minister and party enjoyed the traditional dance performance of the Chin Traditional Culture Troupe. In the afternoon, the Deputy Prime Minister met officials of state, district and township-level staff from the education and health sectors at the state government office.
SAC Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Defence Minister General Mya Tun Oo met the staff and medical superintendent of Haka General Hospital and provided medical devices and supplies to them. He also met locals who are undergoing medical treatment at the hospital and provided nutritious food for them. — MNA/KZW
