Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win watches competition in Ramayana drama play event at the training theatre of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture in Nay Pyi Taw on 16 October.

Patron of the Leading Committee for Organizing the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win watched the competition of Ramayana drama play event at the training theatre of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
At the drama play amateur level (first class) event, the Mann Rama drama troupe representing Mandalay Region presented performances with full dancing methods under the title of “Original Ramayana”. The Patron of the leading committee, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, deputy ministers, officials and members of the panel of judges watched the competitions.
Contestants from Yangon, Magway, Ayeyawady, Bago and Mandalay regions took part in the “Ramayana” play from 12 October to date. —MNA
