Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win, in his capacity as Chairman of the Central Committee on Organizing the 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Independence Day, yesterday afternoon inspected preparations for holding the honorary dinner to mark the 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Independence Day and the venues where the honorary entertainment programmes will be held.
The Vice-Senior General inspected arrangements for the reception, honorary dinner, awarding for decorated floats, the award for free fall parachute officers, other ranks and female military personnel, launching of decorated drones and fireworks, and variety show and entertainment programmes and left necessary instructions.
SAC members, central committee members Union ministers, the chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, chairmen of subcommittee deputy ministers and officials who accompanied the Vice-Senior General viewed round the preparatory tasks and coordinated necessary measures.
The Vice-Senior General and party also inspected preparations for staging booths of Nay Pyi Taw Council, the opening of domestic traditional food stalls and souvenir shops on 4 January. — MNA/TTA
