SPTT concludes peace talks with 5 NCA signatories

State Peace Talks Team separately met the delegation led by ALP Chair Daw Saw Mra Raza Lin, the delegation led by Saw Ba Nyein Aung at the rank of Operational Commander of DKBA, the delegation led by KNU/KNLA Peace Council Vice-Chair Dr Naw Kapaw Htoo, the delegation led by LDU Vice-Chair Kyar Phu, the delegation led by PNLO Chairman Khun Thurein in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Both sides frankly discussed issues related to regional security, stability and development through each delegation’s presentations.
SPTT and five NCA-Signatory EAO delegates also continued the third-day peace talks at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre.
Following the three-day discussion and negotiation, the parties concerned agreed, signed and exchanged the final comprehensive peace agreements. ALP Chair Daw Saw Mra Raza Lin and Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae gave their closing remarks to wind up the peace talks. — MNA/TS
