Law Amending the Petroleum and Petroleum Product Law

The State Administration Council has enacted this Law under Section 419 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
1. This Law shall be called the Law Amending the Petroleum and Petroleum Product Law.
2. Sub-Sections (k), (w), (z-1) and (z-2) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Petroleum Product Law shall be substituted as follows: –
“(k). Storage means keeping petroleum or petroleum products in a place in accordance with the restrictions. Such wording does not include temporary storage when the Ministry of Energy carries petroleum or petroleum products along the occasionally designated route.
(w). The Ministry concerned means any other Union-level Ministry mentioned in this Law except the Ministry of Energy.
(z-1). The Ministry means the Ministry of Energy of the Union government.
(z-2) The Minister means the Union Minister for Energy of the Union government.
I hereby sign this under Section 419 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
