Tatmadaw (Air) continues transporting foodstuffs, relief items to Rakhine State

The relief materials and food items contributed by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers and relief supplies provided by the National Disaster Management Committee for local communities affected by the natural disaster in Rakhine State are being transported by Tatmadaw aircraft, helicopters and vessels.
Foodstuffs, medical accessories, rehabilitation accessories, relief materials, clothes, communication accessories and personal use items donated by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) were transported from Nay Pyi Taw airport to Sittway airport two times by Tatmadaw plane.
Tatmadaw members, rescue teams, departmental officials, medical equipment and supplies, communication equipment, clothes, personal goods and rescue equipment were also transported from Mingaladon Airport to Sittway Airport two times by Tatmadaw plane.
Officials in the respective areas received relief supplies and will distribute them to storm victims. — MNA/KZW
