Tatmadaw (Air) continues transporting foodstuffs, relief items to Rakhine State

Relief items are loaded aboard the Tatmadaw aircraft to transport them to Rakhine State.

The relief supplies and foodstuffs contributed by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers and those provided by the National Disaster Management Committee for local communities affected by the natural disaster in Rakhine State are being transported by Tatmadaw aircraft, helicopters and vessels.
Electrical goods, water purifiers, clothes and consumer goods donated by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) were transported from Nay Pyi Taw Airport to Sittway Airport one time by the Tatmadaw plane.
Members of the Tatmadaw and the Myanmar Police Force, rescue teams, departmental officials, medical supplies, communication equipment, generators, rehabilitation items and foodstuffs were also transported from Mingaladon Airport to Sittway Airport two times by Tatmadaw plane.
Officials in the respective areas received relief supplies and will distribute them to storm victims. — MNA/KZW
