Team Myanmar to prepare for 2026 World Cup 2nd Round Qualifiers

Myanmar national team head coach Michael Feichtenbeiner will handle Team Myanmar for the 2026 World Cup 2nd Round Qualifiers in March and June.
Team Myanmar will start training this month. Myanmar players are scheduled to train in Yangon from 10 to 20 January, when the domestic league matches are suspended, to ensure that the players are fully trained.
Twenty-eight players have been selected for this training programme, including some playing in foreign clubs.
In the list of players who will be training now, those who are playing in Thai clubs, players from the Cambodian League and some players from the local league who are injured are not included yet and will come to join only for the second training session.
