In a significant development, the Thai Embassy has greenlit operations for 23 travel companies within Myanmar to facilitate Thai visa services, as confirmed through an official statement released by the Embassy. This move comes after a meticulous selection process conducted by the Thai Embassy, wherein, out of an extensive pool of more than 400 Myanmar-based companies vying to offer Thai visa services, a carefully chosen 23 were approved.
Among the esteemed travel enterprises endorsed by the Thai Embassy to provide visa services are names such as Precious Moments Travel & Tour Co Ltd, Myanmar Than Thar Travel & Tour Co Ltd, Htoo Travels Co Ltd, and a host of others. This selection marks a significant milestone in the travel sector, presenting applicants with the convenience of acquiring Thai visas through these approved service providers, eliminating the need to personally visit the embassy and endure lengthy waiting periods.
The established visa service companies will cater to a variety of visa categories, with application fees ranging from US$35 to US$2,000, contingent on the specific type of visa sought. This delegation of responsibilities to the selected companies ensures efficient and streamlined visa services, greatly benefiting individuals hailing from diverse regions, particularly those residing in proximate locales along the Thai border.
