YRIC approves 5 new projects, creating nearly 2,000 jobs

According to Secretary U Nyi Nyi Min of the Yangon Region Government Office, the Yangon Region Investment Committee Meeting 4/2024, held on 24 April, approved five new investment projects.
These projects are anticipated to generate employment opportunities for 1,952 individuals. The total investment for these projects amounts to K4 billion and $4.103 million, spread across industrial, manufacturing, and service sectors.
“Out of the five investments, one is fully owned by citizens, two are entirely foreign-owned, and two are joint ventures,” added U Nyi Nyi Min. Furthermore, it has been reported that the Yangon Region Investment Committee grants monthly approvals for both local and foreign investments with the aim of creating job opportunities. — ASH/TRKM
