The delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing leaves for Russia to attend 9th Moscow Conference on International Security-2021 (MCIS-2021)

SAC members see off State Administration Council Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at Nay Pyi Taw military airport.

A delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left the Nay Pyi Taw military airport by the special aircraft of the Myanmar Airways International (MAI) yesterday morning to attend the 9th Moscow Conference on International Security-2021(MCIS-2021) to be held in the Russian Federation at the invitation of Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Army General Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu.
The goodwill delegation led by the Senior General was seen off at the airport by Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Council members, Union ministers, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Nikolay A. Listopadov and officials.
The Senior General was accompanied by member of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Council Joint-Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Mayor Dr Maung Maung Naing, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Than Aung Kyaw, Military Attaché of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Colonel Sergei Kurchenko, outstanding award winner officers from the Myanmar Tatmadaw and military and civilian officials.
During the visit, the Senior General will attend the 9th Moscow Conference on International Security-2021(MCIS-2021) and hold meetings with military and civilian officials and tour significant places in the Russian Federation, universities, factories and workshops. The Tatmadaw (Navy) delegation led by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung will attend the International Maritime Defence Show IMDS to be held in Saint Petersburg.—MNA
