‘Tourism & Green Investment’ photo contest winners to be awarded on World Tourism Day

The winners of the ‘Tourism and Green Investment’ Photo Contest marking the 2023 World Tourism Day will be awarded at the World Tourism Day Commemorative Event to be held on 27 September, according to the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism (Yangon Region).
The winners of the photo contest have already been announced.
“For the ‘Tourism and Green Investment’ photo contest commemorating the 2023 World Tourism Day, the photo experts have already selected the 15 winners of the contest. They will be awarded at the World Tourism Day Commemorative Event to be held on 27 September in Nay Pyi Taw,” said U Nanda Aung, Director of the department.
The first prize in the photo contest goes to U Aung Myat Min for his stunning photo of the Maravijaya Buddha Image while the second prize to U Myint Than with the photo of offering alms at Dat Taw Taung and the third prize to U Kyaw Zar Min with the photo of sunrise at U Bein Bridge.
Another 15 consolation prize-winning photos are Gokteik Viaduct, December Flower Festival (PyinOoLwin), Phowintaung Cave, Yin Net ethnic people, Taw Kyal Waterfall, Naughkio Sea of Clouds, Pattupauk Village and ethnic people (Aungban), Zawkabin Mountain and Kyaukalat, PyinOoLwin hot-air balloon festival, Meiktila pagoda festival, looms in countryside areas, Kamyawkin jetty (Dawei) and Bagan. — ASH/KTZH
