Tu Shin Hnwal Pyaw Gita Pwal Taw singing competition Season 2 to be held in marking Diamond Jubilee Independence Day

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn inspected the preparations to hold the Tu Shin Hnwal Pyaw Gita Pwal Taw singing competition (Season -2) marking the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day at MRTV on Pyay Road of Yangon yesterday.
Firstly, the Union minister cordially met the chairman and members of the Myanmar Music Association (Central), judges and presenters of Season 2, guests, contestants from regions/states for matches (1/2) and members of MRTV modern band.
He then inspected the video-making sessions and preparations at Studio-A.
The Union minister said the ministry is making efforts to entertain the people by holding the singing competition (Season-2) and it is time for the artists to serve the people with their art skills. Season 1 jointly conducted by the ministry and regional governments including Nay Pyi Taw Council was popular among the people. Now, Season 2 will be held to mark the 75th Anniversary of Independence Day.
He then called on the officials to participate in holding the event successfully.
The Tu Shin Hnwal Pyaw Gita Pwal Taw singing competition Season 2 will be held between 2 September and 30 October. A total of 45 contestants – three each from Nay Pyi Taw and Regions/States will participate in the competition. There will be 10 matches for five groups containing nine contestants each for the first round and they will have to sing the designated songs and the ones they like. In the second round, they have to compete with the fixed songs and the ones they like for seven matches. The process is the same for the final match for the first, second and third prizes.
Then, the Union minister checked the Graphic Design course at MRTV and met the news announcers and presenters of MRTV HD, MRTV News and MITV Channel and provided cash assistance. — MNA
