Two new special postage stamps featuring Myanmar’s cultural heritage to be issued

Two new special postage stamps (K200) with pictures of men and women in the Bagan-era dresses will be sold at the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, the Yangon Post Office, the Mandalay Post Office and post offices in respective regions and states starting from 9 am on 27 October.
Myanmar Post of the Ministry of Transport and Communications aims to discover Myanmar’s cultural heritage and make the public and new generations more aware of the dress code of traditional Myanmar men and women for generations.
As a special programme, dates will be stamped on the postage stamps purchased on 27 October at the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, the Yangon Post Office and the Mandalay Post Office.
It is also reported that the postage stamps featuring the dresses of Inwa-era men and women will be issued. — MNA
