Opening Ceremony of the Training Course for Attaché on English Proficiency and Foreign Service Skills (CfA) 4/2022 for the Attaché who will be the very first assignment to the Myanmar Embassies abroad took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday, 16 May 2022 at 10:30 am. On the occasion, Union Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin addressed the opening speech. It was attended by Union Minister for International Cooperation, U Ko Ko Hlaing, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Permanent Secretary, Directors-General from the respective departments and officials as well as 33 trainees from the Union Minister’s Office and respective departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The eight weeks intensive training course was conducted from 16 May 2022 to 24 June 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nay Pyi Taw and from 27 June 2022 to 8 July 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Yangon) for the purpose of the improvement of the trainees’ English Proficiency Skills and knowledge on the Governmental policy, international relations subject matters and general knowledge during their assignment abroad.
During the training course, it will be lectured by the Senior Diplomats, the Senior Officials from the respective departments of the Ministry of Foreign affairs, the officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Planning and Finance, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs, Ministry of Immigration and Population, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Office of Union Auditor-General, Union Civil Service Board, Anti-Corruption Commission, Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Professor of International Relations in Dagon University and the responsible tutors for English Proficiency Skills in Yangon University of Foreign Languages (YUFL). In the course, it will be attended by 33 trainees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.— MNA
