UMFCCI MSME Fair 2023 kicks off in Mayangon Township

The Micro-, Small-and Medium-Sized Enterprises Product Fair 2023 organized by the UMFCCI at Lotte Hotel in Mayangon Township yesterday morning.
At the opening ceremony, Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than, who is in a capacity of Secretary of the MSME Development Central Committee, disclosed that the government is making preparations to amend the existing policies, law and bylaw for development of MSME businesses so as to boom the State economy. He pledged to implement the MSMEs Upskilling and Reskilling Digital Capacity Development Program for Integrating in the Digital Economy with the Mekong-Lancang fund. The Union minister stressed the need to implement development of MSME through tripartite efforts of the government, organizations and MSMEs.
The Union Minister, the Yangon Region Chief Minister and officials visited the fair.
In the afternoon, the Union minister met with officials from factories in Yangon Region at the Industrial Supervision and Inspection Department in Mayangon Township and called for making preparation to minimise loss and damage at factories and buildings. — MNA/TTA
