Union Minister for Construction inspects road, bridge construction works in Ayeyawady, Magway regions

The MoC Union Minister is seen inspecting the Ayeyawady Bridge (Magway) yesterday.

Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay met Ayeyawady Region Administration Council Chairman U Ye Myint, council members and departmental officials and discussed the development of infrastructure in the region on 4 July.
Then, the Union Minister and party inspected the upgrade of nine-storey Pathein General Hospital, Pathien-Kankalay road section, Kankalay-Yay Kyi- Bat Ye road maintenance works conducted by Building Construction Team (15) of maintenance Department, 150 feet long Ywar Thit Gyi-Pauk Tuu bridge constructed by building Rural Road Development Department in Ahlone Village-tract in Kyangin Township of Ayeyawady Region and upgrade work of mile post 100/1 at Pathein-Monywa road (Ayeyawady Region).
The Union Minister also visited the 1,300 feet long Mindon Bridge (Yaynatha) constructed by the Construction Team (3) of Bridge Department, 270 feet long Gway Cho Bridge on Thayet-Minhla road section constructed by Special Team (3) and 180 feet long Htan Kine Bridge construction site.
The Union Minister also met Magway Region Administration Council Chairman U Tint Lwin, council members and other departmental officials as per COVID-19 health rules yesterday. During the meeting, he discussed the development of road-bridge transportation networks, prioritzed sectors and regional development programmes.
He then inspected the strength of Ayeyawady Bridge (Magway), Nay Pyi Taw-Taung Nyo-Myothit-Kan Pyar-Magway road section and bridge conservation works. — MNA
