Victorious Shan United has chance to defend championship

The final day of the 2023 MNL championship (Match-21) took place on 4 December, with champion Shan United securing a victory and edging closer to defending their title.
In the match held at Thuwunna Stadium, Shan United secured a victory over Yadanabon United, scoring four goals to two. This win sent them closer to the championship, and they can clinch the title by earning at least one point in the remaining two games.
As it was the decisive period for the championship, Shan United deployed several players, including foreign ones. They initiated scoring after 20 minutes and successfully secured a three-goal lead in the first half.
In the match held at the YUSC stadium, Myawady won against Maha United by four goals to two goals.
After Matchday 21, the current champion, Shan United, leads with 56 points, followed by the Yangon team with 50 points. The Hanthawady team has 34 points, Dagon Star has 28 points, and Rakhine United and ISPE Club have 26 points each. The Ayeyawady and Myawady teams secured 25 points each. Yadanabon won 20 points.
