Shan United, Kachin United thrash opponents in group match 7 of 2024 MNL Cup

Shan United crushed Glory Goal FC 4-0 at Youth Training Centre in Thuwunna yesterday, securing three points to lead the group.
In Group B, all three clubs have the potential to sail into the next stage. So, the remaining matches of Shan United, Rakhine United, and Kachin United are very important to them.
Within 15 minutes of the first half, Thurein Tun and Aung Naing Win translated their chances into the goals for Shan United. In the second half, Shan United changed its players. More winning goals were scored by Ye Yint Aung and Thet Wai Moe into the net of Glory Goal FC.
At Yangon United Sports Complex, Kachin United trounced Rainbow FC with a 5-0 win. In 31 minutes, Saw Law El Htoo of Rainbow scored an own goal as a present for Kachin United FC. One more goal was scored by S Gun Lam and a hat-trick by Zaw Mon Aung as winning goal.
Currently, Shan United has secured 15 points in six matches, Rakhine United and Kachin United 12 points each in five games, Glory Goal three points in six points and Rainbow FC without any points in six games each.
On 3 May, Ayeyawady versus Silver Star will be held at YTC in Thuwunna, Dagon Port versus Hanthawady FC at University Sports Complex, Yadanabon FC versus Rakhapura United at Padonma Stadium and Thitsa Arman versus ISPE at YUSC. — Ko Nyi Lay/TTA
