YIA introduces new measure for accompanying passengers

Yangon International Airport has introduced a new policy allowing individuals accompanying passengers to obtain temporary access cards for the airport’s public area.
People seeing off passengers can obtain these temporary access cards by presenting their citizenship scrutiny cards (CSCs), and no fees will be imposed. Holders of these access cards can enter the airport through Gate No 2 and exit through Gate No 6.
It’s essential to wear the temporary access card at all times while in the airport terminal’s public area and adhere to the airport’s security and safety regulations. Any misuse of the temporary access card will result in its revocation, and appropriate actions will be taken. — TWA/CT
