YUFL diploma in English for communication skills course gains attention

The announcement by Yangon University of Foreign Languages that it will conduct batch 1 of the Diploma in English for Communication Skills has caught a lot of attention.
YUFL made it public on its Facebook page, and many people have expressed their interest in joining the course.
Under the CHRD programme, the Diploma in English for Communication Skills course has been scheduled to be conducted face-to-face and online. Those who completed English basic level 1 or level 2 at YUFL can join the upper level directly, and entrance test is not required.
New students will have to join from English basic level 1, and applicants for face-to-face classes will have to take an entrance examination at YUFL. Applicants for online courses will have to take it online, and a Web link will be sent by email when the exam is due.

Application forms are available at the YUFL Student Affairs Department, and submissions are welcome from 29 April to 3 May. Registration numbers will be announced on 5 May, and entrance will be sat on 6 May. Fee payment is allowed from 8 May to 10 May.
The duration is 18 months, each level lasts three months, and the fee is K100,000, which can be paid separately for each level. Face-to-face basic 1 and 2 classes will run on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 12 pm and intermediate 1 class from 1 pm to 4 pm, and online basic 1 and 2 classes will run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6 pm to 8 pm and online intermediate 1 class will run on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 12 pm.
It will start on 11 May. Applicants must have at least passed matriculation. An original certificate of completion of matriculation and copy, or an original certificate of graduation and copy, an original ID card, and a copy of 3 passport photos are required.
