2023 Mid-Year Gems Emporium continues its seventh day, 623 lots of jade sold

The seventh day of the 2023 Mid-Year Gems Emporium was held at Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw. Local and foreign gems merchants looked around and examined the lots of jade that were displayed at designated places outside the hall, commencing in the morning.
A total of 753 lots of jade were on sale for local and foreign merchants through an open tender system, and 623 lots of jade were sold, according to the statement.
A total of 1,000 jade lots were on display for the eighth day of the exhibition, where they were inspected by local gems merchants, and bids were placed in the tender box.
Officials closed the bidding for the 1,000 jade lots at 3 pm. The tender boxes will be opened, and the sale of jade lots will be announced at 8 am on 27 October. The remaining jade lots, 1,792 in total, will be sold to local gems merchants at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw until 28 October. — MNA/CT
