The armed insurgents attacked the outposts of police and security forces and Myanma Economic Bank in some townships.
On 13 May, about six terrorists attacked the police station in Myaung Township of Magway Region with handmade bomb and gun.
The bomb exploded about 50 ft from the police station. No casualties and damages were reported.
Similarly, about 140 armed insurgents attacked the Myanma Economic Bank in Mindat Township of Chin State many times with guns and handmade bombs. The terrorists moved back due to the counter-attack of security forces. Two police were injured in the attacks.
Moreover, the armed insurgents threw three handmade bombs to Myanma Economic Bank in Myoma Ward (2) of Kanpetlet Township of Chin State.
The bomb exploded at the fence of the bank while another one between the bank area and two-storey Myoma market. The third bomb did not explode, and the police kept it.
Moreover, the unscrupulous persons also attacked Myoma police station with guns and bombs.
On 14 May, the insurgents also threw one handmade bomb to Myanma Economic Bank. No casualties and damages were reported.
The security forces will accelerate the security measures to arrest the armed insurgent groups that attacked the police outposts and Myanmar Economic Bank branches. — MNA
