7 injured in homemade mine blast in Denko filling station

Five men and two women were injured during the homemade mine explosion in Denko filling station on Khaymarthi road, (Gagyi) ward, North Okkalapa Township, Yangon Region, on 15 May.
The fire was extinguished by the fire brigade members and security forces. Two staff and five customers were reportedly injured, and two motorbikes were destroyed by fire.
According to the CCTV footage, two men arrived on a motorbike. They set off a Bluetooth Speaker Box, which was believed to be a homemade mine, at the base of filling station No (4) and exploded about five minutes later.
Security forces are reportedly searching for the perpetrators of the incident. —MNA
