Security forces confiscated weapons and related equipment to be used in terrorist attacks in Taunggyi, Myeik, North Okkalapa, Ye and Mahaaungmyay townships on 19 May.
One man from Taunggyi, two men from Myeik, four men from North Okkalapa, one man from Ye and one woman from Mahaaungmyay township were arrested with weapons and equipment to be used in terrorist attacks.
It is reported that investigations are underway to identify and arrest the owners of weapons and equipment used in terrorist attacks and those who are detained with them under the law. – MNA
