Misinformation circulated that Tatmadaw security forces destroy funeral service vehicles in Madaya

Subversive media outlets are intentionally spreading false information, alleging that Tatmadaw security forces destroyed vehicles belonging to a funeral service organization in Ywaysu Village, Madaya Township, Mandalay Region on 18 March.
In response to these claims, a security officer in Madaya Township has refuted them, confirming that no security forces damaged the vehicles of the funeral service organization and no shootings took place. In reality, Tatmadaw personnel are working alongside locals to maintain stability in Madaya Township and prevent any People’s Defence Force (PDF) terrorists from entering the town. On 18 March, Tatmadaw security forces successfully neutralized landmines planted by PDF terrorists along the road between Ywaysu Village and Latkaunggyi Village.
The circulation of such misinformation by malicious media outlets aims to deceive the public and create misunderstandings about Tatmadaw. — MNA/TMT
