Let’s join hands to fight against COVID-19 pandemic

Everybody knows COVID-19 as a pandemic that imposes a threat to the world. But, all the Myanmar people should not be in fear of such disease by adopting a comprehensive plan to conduct prevention, containment and treatment for the people under the leadership of the COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee.
Nowadays, as the number of COVID-19 confirmed patients is remarkably rising on a daily basis, the COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee emphasizes prevention, control and treatment of the pandemic because variant COVID-19 virus is found not only in neighbouring countries but in Myanmar.
All the entire people need to overcome such challenges without fail. Individual preventive measures must be taken and vaccination must be given for rapid mitigation of the infection rate of the pandemic.

Now is time not to fear the pandemic. We must strictly abide by the health guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports. So, we must conquer the pandemic. Let’s join hands to fight against it!

Authorities must provide treatment to the confirmed patients at the hospitals as well as extend more quarantine centres. Preventive measures of the disease must be taken at schools for disinfection over the students. In this regard, the schools and students must be provided facilities to wash hands under restrict supervision.
Moreover, the campaign of wearing facemasks should be staged in various areas so as to raise public awareness for the prevention and control of the disease. With the aim of wearing facemasks at markets, factories and offices, the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Tatmadaw are striving for abundant production of facemasks for the people. As such, all the people need to join the facemask wearing campaigns in all townships of the nation including stay-at-home townships.
Although the pandemic has been breaking out throughout the world including Myanmar since December 2019, global people could overcome all the challenges in the waves of disease one after another. Hence, the global people need to have the confidence to overcome the impacts of the disease’s third wave. Naturally, every battle in the wars can face casualties in both rivals. Likewise, some of the people may sacrifice their lives in the battle of COVID-19 while striving for the survival of all.
Now is time not to fear the pandemic. We must strictly abide by the health guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports. So, we must conquer the pandemic. Let’s join hands to fight against it!
