Union Minister Dr Charlie Than visits Hepatitis B vaccine factory in Hlegu Township.

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than met the retired workers of the Ministry of Industry at Sethmu religious hall in the eastern archway of Shwedagon Pagoda in Bahan Township of Yangon Region on 3 July.
The Union Minister then inspected the Thet Thar detergent factory, a joint venture of government-private sector, operated under No (3) Heavy Industries Enterprise.
He also visited the modern warehouse of Myanmar Pharmaceutical Factory (Insein) and inspected the raw material production process with the use of computerized system, medicine storage and snake farm.
Then, the factory manager clarified the work processes of factory, and the Union Minister talked about the instruction of SAC regarding with the medicine production at state-run pharmaceutical factory to improve the production rate to meet the local demands.
The Union Minister visited the Hepatitis B vaccine factory in Hlegu Township yesterday. During the visit, he stressed the needs to follow the systematic processes and make preparations to produce essential medicines for the public, and he gave other instructions.
He inspected the old Ice Factory in Ahlon Township. –MNA
