Preparations continue to provide healthcare services to COVID-19 patients

Tatmadaw hospitals, military training schools, interrogation and accommodation camps in respective military headquarters are preparing to provide healthcare services to the COVID-19 positive patients and those who need to be quarantined, and healthcare services are being provided at the completed sites. In addition, the Ministry of Health and Sports, in collaboration with department officials, charitable organizations and the public, is preparing for quarantine centres in respective townships.
Yesterday, chairpersons of the respective state/region administration councils and military officials from the respective commands inspected the sites, provided food and cash assistance, and coordinated where necessary.
As of yesterday, a total of 252 people have been quarantined in the Nay Pyi Taw Interrogation Camp; 40 COVID-19 positive patients are being provided with necessary healthcare services in the Ottarathiri station battalion; 473 positive patients in the Hline Township Interrogation and Accommodation Camp in Yangon Region; 56 positive patients in the Ye Mon station battalion; 34 positive patients in the Pathein Station Training School respectively and a total of 98 people recovered from the illness were sent back home yesterday.
The military station medical teams and officials are taking care of the patients with necessary healthcare services. They are in good health, it is reported. — MNA
