MoTC deputy minister discusses cybersecurity at 6th Singapore int’l cyber week

Deputy Minister for Transport and Communications Brig-Gen Lu Mon attended the 6th Singapore International Cyber Week-SICW that is virtually held by the Singapore Cyber Security Agency from 4 to 8 October.
The Deputy Minister discussed cyber security threats and policies, implementation of cyber standards, enhancing cooperation on cyber and digital security issues, protection of important information and infrastructure and development of skilled human resources in cybersecurity with Ministers, Deputy Ministers and officials from other ASEAN nations. They also discussed regional cyber cooperation issues with representatives from the ASEAN dialogue partner countries.
The confer ence was attended by cybersecurity Ministers, Deputy Ministers from the ASEAN nations, the Secretary-General of the ASEAN and representatives from dialogue partner countries. — MNA
