Above 45-year-old people get COVID-19 jabs in Kyeintali

People over the age of 45 received COVID-19 vaccines at a meeting hall of the General Administration Department in Kyeintali, Thandwe District, Rakhine State yesterday.
The sixth-day vaccination programme was launched from 9 am to 3 pm.
Ward and Village-tract Administrators provided serial numbers to people over the age of 45 who have arrived for the vaccination, and relevant Ward and Village-tract clerks called the individual immunization numbers for the local people at the vaccination site.
Security forces from the Kyeintali police station and members of the Fire Brigade also assisted in the vaccination work.
A total of 138 people over 45 years of age from wards and village-tracts, including one religious leader, one civil servant, five family members of civil servants, 178 vendors and 26 volunteers got the COVID-19 jabs yesterday.– Khaing Moe Min (IPRD)/GNLM
