Factory workers get 2nd dose of COVID jab in Htantabin Township

Healthcare officials gave the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines to workers from four factories at Htantabin textile factory, No. 4 Ward, Htantabin Township, northern Yangon District on 12 October.
Volunteers and health officials administered the COVID doses to 232 workers from the Htantabin textile factory, 34 workers from Haw Swint Factory, 104 workers from Global Paper Holding Factory and 12 workers from Panda Seasoning Powder Factory respectively.
Officials, members and chairman of the township administration inspected the vaccination of 382 workers from the four workshops.
Vaccination of factory workers from private factories in Htantabin Township was carried out by health workers as per health guidelines under the auspices of the township COVID-19 disease control and emergency response committee.
On 16 October, workers from 5 workshops including Hydrodynamic Factory in Rakhine Yoegyi Village-tract and Paing Seint Factory in Asugyi Village will receive the vaccines.
The second dose COVID-19 vaccine will be given to workers from Minthar Lay Garment Factory in Tu Chaung Village-tract on 19 October and workers from Overseas Factory on 22 October respectively. — Zin Min Htike (Htantabin)/ GNLM
