Second day of COVID-19 vaccination to students continues in Thingangyun Township

Immunization for students aged 12-18 is underway in Thingangyun.

The second day of the COVID-19 immunization programme for the students between the age of 12 and 18 continued yesterday in Thingangyun Township, Yangon Region.
Middle and high school students enrolled in the 2021-2022 academic year received their first dose of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines at No (2) Basic Education High School in Thingangyun. A total of 590 students were vaccinated on 18 October and 569 students yesterday.
Officials of the Township Education Department, Township Administration Body, Public Health Department, Myanmar Red Cross Society, and charitable groups worked together for the successful inoculation, and the rest of the students will be vaccinated depending on the availability of the vaccines. — Sandar Moe (IPRD)/GNLM
