Ancient pagodas in MraukU host large numbers of visitors

The ancient pagodas in MraukU Township of MraukU District in Rakhine State were thronged with people starting yesterday morning.
The people visited the Yanaung Zeya Pahtoe Taw Gyi, Shitthaung pagodas and Htukkam Thein pagoda to study the ancient Rakhine architectures, mural and 550 Buddha stories, including traditional costumes of Rakhine people.

Then, the pilgrims and students also viewed the ancient Rakhine architectures and heritages in the pagoda compounds and the souvenirs shops were also packed with people. — Khin Maung Tun (IPRD)/GNLM
