Schoolchildren, adults receive COVID vaccines in Nay Pyi Taw

Health officials gave the first dose of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines to over 12-year-old schoolchildren and over 18-year-old people at People’s Hospital (50-bed) in Pobbathiri Township, Ottara District, Union Territory in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
Officials from Pobbathiri Township General Administration Department, head of the Township Public Health Department Dr Thein Thein Htwe and health workers, members of the Tatmadaw Medical Corps, education staff, Township Red Cross members and officials assisted in the vaccination works.
Vaccination activities are documented by the General Administration Department followed by measuring body temperatures, blood pressure, and monitoring oxygen levels by healthcare officials.
Vaccines were systematically given to the local people, and only those with normal conditions are vaccinated, officials said. — Myo Thiha (IPRD)/GNLM
