Stimulant tablets seized in PyinOoLwin

Psychotropic drugs were seized in PyinOoLwin Township, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
A joint team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched for the drugs in PyinOoLwin at 9 pm on 30 November. A total of 131,800 tablets of ecstasy were seized during a search of a passenger vehicle between Mileposts 47 and 48 near bypass road, PyinOoLwin Township.
At 10 pm on 30 November, a combination team consisting of the Anti-Drug Police Force raided Thein Zaw (alias) Aik Sai’s house in Ward 19, PyinOoLwin and confiscated 1,062 stimulant tablets.
They are being prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, Myanmar Police Force said. —MNA
