Nearly 6,000 people vaccinated during 5th batch of COVID-19 vaccination in Singaing

The Ministry of Health is conducting the 5th batch (second phase) of the COVID-19 vaccination for people over the age of 18 in Singaing Township, Kyaukse District in Mandalay Region. As of 17 December, a total of 5,905 people have been reportedly vaccinated and the inoculation will also continue for the rest of the people, according to the Township Public Health Department.
In Singaing, departmental staff, fire brigade members, ward/village administrators, and members of charity associations are carrying out health campaigns to raise awareness of COVID-19 variants, including Omicron as well as to prevent and contain the disease transmission. They are also working together to spray pesticides in wards and villages and also monitoring the compliance of the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and local rules and regulations. — Nyo Nyo Win (IPRD)/GNLM
