Returnees are welcomed at the Chinshwehaw land border in northern Shan State.

The border camps are receiving Myanmar returnees from foreign countries. A total of 16 Myanmar citizens — eight males and eight females — returned to Chinshwehaw in northern Shan State and another 119 — 89 males and 30 females — to Laukkai on 4 January.
The health officials, Tatmadaw medics and other officials provided health-related matters for quarantine. Then, township administration officials sent them to their respective towns by vehicle and those who have tested for positive are isolated at the designated places. — MNA
