MNHRC awareness training (2/2022) opened

The opening ceremony of the Inter-departmental Human Rights Awareness Training (2/2022) of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission (MNHRC) was held at the MNHRC conference room at 1 pm yesterday, keeping in line with COVID-19 rules and regulations.
At the ceremony, Myanmar National Human Rights Commission Chairman U Hla Myint said that it is a strategic goal for the commission to open various training courses such as human rights awareness training, technical training, and English language proficiency course in order to strengthen the capacity of the commission staff.
As increasing the capacity of the commission office staff, the training aims to be professional staff who can support the commission’s vision and objectives to reach goals.
Afterwards, trainees gave introductions and closed the opening ceremony.
The Inter-departmental Human Rights Awareness Training (2/2022) will be attended by 18, including staff of the commission’s branches. The training period will last for five days. It will cover 13 human rights subjects through a hybrid format, both online and face-to-face.
Similarly, the commission will provide more human rights awareness training courses to the ministries through the online system.
The Chairman of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission, Vice-Chair Dr Nanda Hmun, members of the commission, the directors-general, deputy directors-general, directors, and trainees attended the opening ceremony. — MNA
