Tatmadaw aircraft transport vaccines to regions/ states.

Military doctors, health workers and civil society groups are working hard to provide the vaccination against COVID-19, which is an important process in the prevention and control of COVID-19 disease. COVID-19 vaccine is being transported by Tatmadaw (Air) and motor vehicles as per cold-chain standards to respective regions and states.
Yesterday, a total of 68,410 doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines with 68,400 doses to Myitkyina, 2,000 doses of Astra Zeneca COVID-19 vaccine and 16,000 doses of Sinovac to Kengtung, 2,000 doses of Astra Zeneca and 2,728 doses of Covishield to Lashio, 24,130 doses of Sinovac to Dawei, 15,650 doses of Sinovac to Myeik, 5,920 doses of Sinovac to Kawthoung, 3,750 doses of Sinovac to Loikaw, 3,450 doses of AstraZeneca, 5,307 doses of Covishield and 7,8570 doses of Sinovac to Sittway, 1,975 doses of Astra Zeneca, 5,387 doses of Covishield and 23,590 doses of Sinovac to Thandwe were transported by Tatmadaw aircraft. Officials have received them and will distribute them to relevant authorities, it is reported. — MNA
