Myanmar’s ARMAC Steering Committee members attend 18th meeting of ASEAN-ARMAC Steering Committee

Cambodia successfully chaired the 18th Meeting of the Steering Committee (SC) of the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Centre (ARMAC) at ARMAC’s Headquarters in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, via videoconferencing yesterday.
Members of ARMAC Steering Committee, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Deputy Director-General U Nyan Myint Aung, Lt-Col Htin Aung Kyaw from office of Directorate of Military Engineers attended with Myanmar Minister Counsellor to Cambodia Daw Aye Thanda, Deputy Secretary Daw Aye Thanda Soe via video conferencing in Nay Pyi Taw.
The meeting was attended by Ambassadors of ASEAN Members States, members of Steering Committee (SC), ARMAC Exercutive Director Mr. Prum Suonpraseth and officials.
In this meeting, they discussed and approved on to hold ARMAC Special Meeting on July 2022, to revise and review the current constitution of ARMAC and to improve the financial assistances of ARMAC. — MNA
