Magway govt to implement 24 water supply projects

Magway regional government will implement 24 water supply projects in Magway District in the 2022-2023FY, according to the Department of Rural Development.
In implementing 24 water supply projects in six townships of Magway Region, officials estimated to sink tube-wells and construct six water towers in Magway Township, two projects in Taungdwingyi Township including tube-wells, 2,400 gallons water tank and power meter box construction.
They will carry out three projects – tube-well, 2,400 gallons water tower and power meter box in Chauk Township, another three projects – tube-well, water tank and one earthen lake maintenance in Yenangyoung Township, four projects – tube-well and water tanks, two earthen lake maintenance works in Natmauk Township and three projects – tube-wells and water tanks in Myothit Township using K790.610 million of Union budget of the department. —TWA/GNLM
